Marketing Manager

We are building the first digital bank for friends. A bank that will intuitively connect your personal finances and all the people you interact with, making money as social as your life.

B-Social was founded in 2016 with a team of technology, marketing, legal and banking professionals. Since the start, we’ve adopted a lean and agile approach. We run experiments to validate ideas early on, collaborate closely on design and development and build customer feedback into our process. We also regularly hold whole company retrospectives to continuously improve the way we work.

We are looking for a digital savvy Marketing Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for defining, developing and delivering our marketing presence and growing our community of customers. While the role will report to the Chief Community Officer you will work cross functionally across the whole product team.

On a day-to-day basis you will use all your marketing skills and knowhow to ensure the B-Social brand is at the forefront of the market. This is our first marketing hire, so you will need to be an ambitious individual who is happy to be hands on.

What you will do:

  • Be customer focused.
  • Develop marketing, PR and communications strategies.
  • Work on multiple marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the respective product managers to define audiences and messaging.
  • Drive digital traffic & lead generation to the site and app.
  • Help define and implement engaging and creative marketing content on social media, blog posts, our website, and email.
  • Oversee digital analytics/campaign tracking to monitor benchmarks, track success and refine campaigns.
  • Work closely with the wider business to deliver connected and cutting-edge strategies across the company.
  • Have the potential scope to diversify into offline channels.

You'll have an advantage if you have experience of:

  • Have proven experience in a marketing position for a B2C business
  • Are an expert at dealing with digital marketing channels
  • Have campaign management experience
  • Have demonstrable experience in brand building
  • Are comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Are a proactive individual with excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Have experience working with a variety of accounts and dealing with their budgets.
